RETRO POUCH TUTORIAL - PDF

Here's a great little pouch ideal for a cell phone.  My Note 3 fits well, so you would have room for a few extra items, should you have a smaller cell.

Change the fabric and you have a useful pouch suitable for a child or adult.

On the back there is a small zipper pocket for cards,  money,  ID, or all three!  The clasp would be great for keys or attached to your purse.

It is easy to make, and there are an abundance of pictures to follow!  You can also get an idea of my tutorial style.  I hope you  like it!  : )

This is a PDF, and is being offered on Craftsy.

For those who don't know what to do now...(I've been there)...just click on Craftsy in pink, and it will take you directly to the tutorial.  You don't have to join Craftsy.  You can just download it from there.

The Glenda Clutch

The Glenda  Clutch - there  is a totally awesome step by step video tutorial by Deby at Sew So Easy.

The clutch pattern is by Swoon Sewing Patterns, and it can be purchased on their site right HERE.  It is $5.95 - $9.95 depending on whether it's a paper pattern or PDF pattern.

I really love the design & size  of the clutch. It was especially interesting to me as I have been wondering how to insert a zipper divider pocket into my bags.  Well, I know know how it is done! Deby made it look soooo easy!

There are other patterns you might be interested in as well!  Check it out ladies!

BUCKET BASKET TOTE - Free Tutorial

Here's a free tutorial for a bucket basket tote!  Check it out at Very Shannon.

WHEELCHAIR BAG

This is the new wheelchair bag!  The depth of the bag I increased, so  a water/ juice flask could fit inside.  I also added a open tab for this container so there would be less possibility of spillage.  The pattern can be found HERE.

There are two inside pockets, with the outer front of the bag having two pockets also.  They run across the width of the bag.    I thought  elastic would work better in the pockets, preventing items from slipping out.

A key tab has been placed on the front side for easy access.  The outside zipper pocket could safely carry a cell phone, and/or  other valuables.

I plan on using both bags for the tutorial,so you can decide what you would and wouldn't want.  I think the basic measurements (other than the depth)  are the same, with a slight difference in design.

Before proceeding with making a wheelchair bag,  please check the distance from the armrest to the top of the wheel.  They all vary quite a bit!  The armrests can also vary in size.

This bag is fairly small for use on the back of the chair, but it could work, if you wanted to increase the numbers.

If there is anything  I could do to enhance these bags and make them more serviceable please let me know.  Another design? More pockets? Different attachment?  I'm more than willing to work with someone to find something suitable for their needs.  Thank you!

This is the original wheelchair bag!
